  Encountered two very arrogant & abusive males today, who are workers for this company. Drove into my street this afternoon to find an Amax truck parked smack in the centre of the road. Not in a driveway, not alongside the kerb, but in the centre of the street. This coincidentally was blocking the entire entrance to my drive (of units) as well as making it risky for other drivers to visually see if there was any oncoming traffic, in order to safely pass alongside the truck. Due to the trucks position, only one side was passable. The risk of encountering oncoming traffic was certainly there.

  On approaching the two males about the location of the truck I was told “it had been a long day” and basically just mind my own business, and “what was the problem with the way they had parked on the street”. I replied, apart from blocking the only entrance to my driveway (under the circumstances that wouldn’t be so bad as they were tending to one of the units on the site that I live) but to inconvenience the rest of the motorists along the street, who would not have been able to securely drive up alongside the truck without knowledge of oncoming traffic. These two male employees both agreed, again, they saw no problem with their truck parked as it was, and “where else were they supposed to park it”?. At the time this occurred I observed ‘multiple’ places alongside the kerb, in the street, within very reasonable vicinity to the property being moved, multiple spots the truck could have been parked. I pointed this out to them. One of the drivers quipped at this “I’m not going to risk my life by having to cross the street (to the truck)! Really, a suburban street! Their defence generally was that ‘there was nowhere else to park’ and ‘it had been a long day’ and others would just need to work around them and be quiet. Both of their attitudes were appalling, no respect shown to other immediate residents of the units or passing motorists whatsoever. I was verbally abused by one of the employees, Aaron, being told I was a menopausal c**t. Lovely. Obviously well educated and respectful and a good advertisement for the company!! The so called ‘person in control’ at the 1300 number that I called, didn’t really seem at all concerned, which in my opinion further adds to the lack of professionalism and concern that this company has. Wouldn’t hire this mob for all the tea in China (or India). For those reading testimonials about this company, with view to hiring their services, I would sincerely suggest you think again. Absolutely appalling experience. When you’re out ‘on the job’ representing a company, you never ever behave in this manner, without exception.
